When the life in front of me seemed to twist and turn,
I was in very bad head spin...
When I couldn't find my way out of this deep tunnel,
everything had blackened...
When talking to someone could have really done me good,
I couldn't get nobody to trust,
and this was when I needed you.

I fell on rocky grounds
and I hit my head in distress
I drowned in my tears and really cried out my fears
This was where you could have been my superman.

You could have proven that
you are not just a man
but you are 'the man'
The man who would always be there
and not run when hell gates open.
This is when you could have won my heart

One more time,
I looked around, i screamed your name
with the hope of getting in touch
but nope!
you did not even exist in my world.
there and then, all hope was lost
and this is when you lost my friendship.

It really could have been perfect
but nope!
its the time that came
and faded away...
its the moment that came
and withered away...
the time that came when
there was no ME in your life...

This is when I go on my knees
and pray for a better life
and a better person in it.
